Irving is an important city in Texas, standing close to both Dallas and Fort Worth. With many activities and attractions located in northern Irving and the Las Colinas areas, Irving's most famous landmark is the Mustangs of Las Colinas bronze sculptures.
This is the largest sculpture of its kind in the world and depicts nine wild mustangs galloping through a stream in the spacious Williams Square Plaza. Irving is a surprisingly large city and competes with Dallas for office space and modern architecture.
Tourism is becoming an important part of city life in Irving and the main tourist information outlet is the Irving Convention and Visitors Bureau, which is located along West Las Colinas Boulevard.
